David is originally from a small coal-mining town near Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He has been dancing for over 20 years and teaching professionally for 10 years. He is a National American Rhythm semi-finalist and 2-time Music City Invitational Champion. David currently continues performing and competes with pro/am students and his professional partner throughout the country. He also performs for professional shows with show dances and theater arts/cabaret.
He currently manages and teaches at National Dance Clubs of Brentwood, TN. David moved to Murfreesboro, TN after attending Kenwood High School in Clarksville where his parents reside. He attended MTSU and graduated with marketing and public relations with a minor in modern dance. He later moved to Nashville to start teaching ballroom at NDC and never looked back.
He was thrilled to receive a call from his former high school teacher, Karen Meacham, to perform for DTWS Clarksville. He gladly accepted the invite. Now things have come full circle, and they can’t wait to groove on the dance floor.
