I am very active in civic organizations and involved with many charities. I worked with Civitan for many years and helped with their major fundraiser, The Tennessee State Fiddle Championships and now devote all of my time to the Rotary Club. My Rotary Club is the oldest in our city and the 2nd oldest in the state. This club has donated land for a park, refurbished an existing park, maintains 2 one hundred thousand dollar endowments at the local university and will collect and distribute between 30 and 50,000 dollars to charities per year. I am Sergeant at Arms of our Club and was voted Rotarian of the Year last year.
I’ve lived in Clarksville Tennessee a total of 29 years. Clarksville borders Fort Campbell, Ky, and is 45 miles north of Nashville. I enjoy bicycling moderate distances, 30 – 50 miles, and go the gym at least 4 days per week.
